"Don't Be Afraid"

I’ve been doing CrossFit for 2 years now. The first year and half, I was attending a different box. I wasn’t consistent to the classes and disliked going because of my underdeveloped technique and the lack of attention from the coaches.

Now, after attending CrossFit Fortius South for a few months, I can feel huge a difference in my movement patterns and technique. Also adding in a few sessions of Olympic Weightlifting put me on track. I really appreciate the time they take with each member to make sure they are performing the movements properly. The coaches give personal attention to each athlete to help them improve. Another reason why I love this place is because of the warm feeling I get entering a box full of people that actually know my name and make me feel like I belong to a family. Not very many of gyms have that unique family-oriented vibe.

When people hear “CrossFit” they immediately think, “Damn, that’s crazy hard, I could never do that.” BUT ITS NOT TRUE. CrossFit is intense, but you learn all the movements in the fundamentals classes and continually progress the more you show up.

If you are hesitant to try CrossFit or Olympic Weightlifting because you think it’s too intense, don’t worry. The coaches at CrossFit Fortius South will take their time with you to help you get the results you want and motivate you to crush your goals.
